Description : Dark reddish brown coloured spray dried powder, with characteristics odour.
Solubility : Easily soluble in water (1gm in 10ml).
Identification : Gives blue colour with Ferrocyanide.
Moisture Content : NMT 7% at 1050C
pH of 5% solution : 6.5 to 8.0
Chlorides as NaCl : Less than 3%
Tapped Bulk Density : 0.5 to 0.7 w/v
Assay Of Iron : 18% to 22%
Total Microbial Count : NMT 1000/gm
